3-15-97 - Nothing new so far today. West Valley High School principal Jim Smith hasn't contacted me. My story wasn't in The Press Enterprise. They did run an article on another matter, and it was about the West Valley High School journalism class and journalism adviser. I'm going to try to contact him today.
- Well, I called the journalism adviser and he sounded a bit hesitant about what I wanted to tell him. We agreed that I would mail a copy of the situation to his attention at the High School. I know it would be great to somehow let the journalism students in on what is happening. They probably have no idea. Maybe I could go down to the school and distribute flyers? I wonder if that would be legal?
- Lily’s story didn’t make the paper. The major controversy in the news today was the West Valley High School Student Paper publishing a series of articles dealing with tatoos and body piercings. Hmmm.
- I will be out of town for most of the day tommorow and won’t be getting back home until *very* late. I don’t think much will happen. I am anticipating developments Monday. I will be in contact with WVHS Principal Jim Smith.
