3-11-97 - Started Chocolate Lily's Rescue Page, a collection of email Gene generated as a process of Lily's rescue and this update page.
- Informed that West Valley High School Ag Instructor John Ventuleth is a member of the Riverside County Sheriff's Posse
- Began letter writing campaign
- Spoke by phone w/Linda Joyce (HUSD Assistant Superintendent of Schools). Told her the story. She sounded shocked. She suggested I call West Valley High School Principal Jim Smith. I contacted him and related a synopsis of what had occured. He sounded like he was taking notes so they are serious. Mr Smith told me he would discuss this with Mr Ventuleth and get back with me in a day or two.
- Attempted to contact Jim Minor at The Hemet News. Did not return my call.
- Contacted Bob Pratte. Gave him a quick rundown. Sounded interested and said he would call back, but did not.
- Faxed info on the story to Los Angeles TV station KNBC.
